More About This Trip
Heading west from Salalah you cross the Qamar Mountains. The landscape quickly changes to hills, mountains and long sandy beaches. Caravans of camels and herds of cattle can be seen from the road.
Our first stop Mughsail Beach where the white sand touches the turquoise sea of the Indian Ocean. Flamingoes feed in the lagoons and Jebel Qamar mountain stands proudly in the background. Here we can explore natural phenomena such as Sahalnoot Spring and Marneef cave with its incredible rock formations. During high tide the waves collide with the cliffs you can feel the air blasting out of the blow holes and water shooting up as much as 20m into the sky! We finish the day relaxing and swimming at Fazayah beach. A remote sandy beach nestled under the mountains.
